Abstract

The National Institute of Statistics and the National Forum of the Third Sector are working together on a project aimed at promoting statistical literacy through socially useful local action. A course has been designed and delivered focusing on the use of official statistical data, combining both asynchronous and live training sessions. Participants were also asked to provide a self-assessment regarding their improvement in skills and professional growth. The aim of this project is to help learners acquire new competences that enable them to operate effectively in a context of profound economic and social change.
