Abstract

I rapidi cambiamenti della società e della tecnologia richiedono un adattamento sia nella vita lavorativa che nell'istruzione. L'apprendimento permanente e continuo, il disimparare e il riapprendere sono più importanti che mai.

Diversi documenti e processi politici europei sottolineano la necessità di creare una nuova cultura dell'apprendimento permanente. Questi si concentrano su sistemi di istruzione e formazione professionale più flessibili e permeabili, sulla convalida dell'apprendimento non formale e informale.

Il CEDEFOP definisce l'apprendimento permanente come tutte le attività di apprendimento intraprese nel corso della vita, con l'obiettivo di migliorare le conoscenze, le abilità/competenze e/o le qualifiche per motivi personali, sociali e/o professionali. L'apprendimento può essere impartito ovunque, acquisito in un contesto formale, non formale o informale.
